Tonight Alex said "Big hug?" And I said "Yes!" Then he gave me a big hug and said "I love you." ... <3 <3 Yes, I cried. :) First time!

Hurry up Mom!

I think we gotta hurry up and get Alex a bike already! He's getting more bold and a bit desperate to get riding. If I slack any longer I'm afraid I'll be harboring a kleptomaniac! This bike wasn't attached to the rack but it did have a chain around the wheel... Lucky owner!

Just shopping at our local Heiber's Frisch Markt (in Weil am Rhein, DE) when I spotted these cute, silly noodle creatures.

Southern Spain

We were recently in Spain traveling around Córdoba, Granada and Marbella. We had a great time!

We visited The Great Mosque of Córdoba, Alhambra, which is a gorgeous display of Islamic architecture and threw rocks into the ocean in Marbella.

We got home in time to suffer an endless string of crap luck and ailing health. Loosing keys, stubbing toes, ear infection, to worse and then better again. Thanks to family for supporting us during our tough times. Suddenly it's the middle of April and we are planning summer events in a mad fury because we have fallen behind!!

I'll probably skip Spain details, but suffice to say it was a lovely time away with my little family. I will post photos (eventually) on FB. :)
